I was initially disappointed when the product arrived because some other reviewers mentioned that it appeared to have been used and repackaged. But opened it to find this tool fantastic!!! We tried using a carpet knife but it took a long time to make a small, fiddly cut, however this tool cuts through the carpet quickly and easily and any doubts I had about the item's use disappeared the moment I started cutting. The cut was quick and the product really surprised me so I could be wrong. Can recommend.
