Der Stoffschneider liegt zwar gut in der Hand, ist mit seinem Gewicht von über 1kg aber nichts, mit dem ich stundenlang arbeiten möchte. Durch den zweiten Akku kann man wechselnd arbeiten, ohne Unterbrechungen zu haben.
Er geht problemlos durch 8 Lagen Baumwollstoff. Das Messer ist etwas polygon, wodurch es nicht so schnell stecken bleibt oder Stofflagen verschiebt. Interessant ist die Einrichtung eines Schärfsteines, der bei Bedarf einfach mit einem Knopf an die Klinge gedrückt werden kann.
Der Fingerschutz an der Front lässt sich mit dem beiliegenden Schraubendreher zu Arbeitsbeginn schnell auf die passende Höhe einstellen.
Um den leichtgängigen Taster an der Griffunterseite nicht versehentlich beim aufnehmen zu betätigen, kann man ihn mit einem einfachen Schiebeschalter sichern.
Bis auf das Gewicht bin ich recht zufrieden mit dem Schneider.
Beiliegend ist der passende Schlüssel zum wechseln der Klinge sowie ein brauchbarer Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher und eine Ersatzklinge. Diese sind auch im Netz als Ersatz erhältlich.

thumbs up to this cutter, i'll give it 5 stars all day long, the cutting power is really really impressive and just slices through like butter. I was a bit sceptical at first cause i wanted it for the specific purpose of cutting cardboard and i saw one review that says it gets jammed when trying to do this but t, I had no problem cutting through cardboard that was equivalent of 4 layers thickness of card at all, ok fair enough, I had to give it a bit of pressure, and when i say a bit, I mean the slightest amount. what a great tool and would definitely buy again. dont know how long the batteries last for cause i have not had it long enough but, you get two so its not all bad
only suitable for more industrial size projects, quite heavy and lifts the bottom of the item being cut off the surface by quite a bit so not suitable for cutting projected patterns. ideal for cardboard and multiple layers of straight line cutting.
