I bought this knife as anniversary gift to my mom and her husband. They’re both avid fishermen and they recently bought a decent size boat so I thought this would be a great addition to their fishing gear. My stepdad was thrilled given that he’s the one dealing with fish prep and cleaning. I looked around and choose this one due to the price and selection of blades. The knife comes equipped with 4 interchangeable blades: 5.5” blade for Crappie, Bream, Trout, Yellow Perch, Whitefish, White Bass; 8” blade for Catfish, Bass, Walleye, Snook; 8” Fine blade for Snapper, Cod, Flounder and 10”blade for Tuna, swordfish, Halibut. Each blade is made out of TWO identical interlocking blades that work as one. Quite impressive, see the video. Handle is grippy making the knife easy to hold and maneuver. It comes nicely packaged and looks quite presentable. I am so glad I got this. Finally struck one of those special gifts they will use often.
Very fun and effective to use. Stared on a whole watermelon and it sliced through it like butter. It’s easy to hold and maneuver and is pretty quiet to operate. Blades are easy to install. Batteries came almost fully charged. Only tip I have is to detach battery before taking blades out to avoid. This slices through walleye effortlessly and makes it a quick job. Love it so far.
